I decided to go to gold country in the foothills near Sacramento. The area is near the river where gold was discovered, starting the 1849 gold rush!! It has historic value and it is a place to really enjoy Geocaching. My first trip there was one of my favorite geotrips of all time! Not too high in the mountains so it is available year-round too!
I am putting the AGK container in an ammo box with some SWAG, some new geocoins and “gold” dollars too!
